Delightful cookies combining rich chocolate and nuts with a chewy texture, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend this dry mixture into the creamed mixture, being careful not to overmix. Stir in chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between each mound. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
For best results, chill the dough for about 30 minutes before baking. Use softened butter to achieve the perfect texture.
