- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet. Make an indentation in each cookie with your thumb.
- Fill each indentation with caramel sauce.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until set and edges are firm.
- Once cooled, melt the chocolate chips and drizzle over the cookies.
Notes
Ensure butter is at room temperature for best results. Don’t overbake the cookies, which should be set but soft in the center.
