Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and softened butter until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, adding vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt, then gradually mix with the creamed mixture.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Press a chocolate kiss into the center while still warm.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
