- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly in a baking dish. Top it off with the mashed potatoes, smoothing them out. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
- In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until golden and bubbling. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
