- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Gravy (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Season the flour with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a shallow dish.
- Whisk together the eggs and milk in another bowl.
- Dredge each cube steak in the seasoned flour, dip in egg mixture, then coat again in flour.
- Heat 1/4 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the steaks and drain on paper towels.
- Optional: Prepare gravy using the drippings by adding flour to create a roux and whisking in milk until creamy.
