Description
A delightful twist on the classic campfire treat, combining sweet and savory flavors in a warm and gooey loaf.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 loaf of bread
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the bread lengthwise and carefully hollow out some of the inside to create enough space for the filling.
- In a bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese, softened cream cheese, melted butter, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix until all ingredients are well combined, resulting in a creamy cheese mixture.
- Gently fold in the mini marshmallows and chocolate chips into the cheese mixture, ensuring they’re evenly distributed for delightful bites of sweetness.
- Fill the hollowed-out bread generously with the cheese and marshmallow mixture. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Slice and serve warm, enjoying the gooey, cheesy goodness!
Notes
Use crusty bread for best results. Can be served with fresh fruits or a simple salad. To store leftovers, wrap tightly and keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
