Description

A delightful bread that combines warm chai spices, pumpkin, and maple syrup, perfect for fall gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, spices, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Use freshly grated ginger and ground spices for the best flavor. Wrap tightly for storage.
