Description

Delicious cookie cups filled with gooey caramel and melty chocolate chips, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg until well blended.
  4. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the wet ingredients and stir until combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  6. Spoon the dough into the muffin tin cups, filling them about halfway.
  7. Add a small dollop of caramel sauce on top of each cookie cup.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  9. Allow to cool before removing from the pan.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of sea salt on top of the caramel. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or refrigerate for a week.
