- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup crushed candy canes
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Mix the crushed graham crackers and melted butter until combined. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, then let it cool.
- In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar and vanilla extract while mixing.
- Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into the cream cheese mixture along with crushed candy canes and peppermint extract.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Top with whipped cream and extra crushed candy canes before serving.
Notes
Use a springform pan for easy removal and adjust crushed candy canes to taste. For a lighter version, you can substitute heavy cream with whipped topping.
