Description

A festive treat combining semisweet and white chocolates with crushed candy canes for a delightful crunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup crushed candy canes
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the semisweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl on high in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Melt the white chocolate chips similarly, then stir in the peppermint extract.
  4. Drizzle the white chocolate over the semisweet layer and swirl gently for a marbled effect. Sprinkle crushed candy canes and optional sprinkles on top. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour, then break into pieces.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks. For longer shelf life, refrigerate, but return to room temperature before serving.
