Description
A delightful dish that strikes a perfect balance between sweet and savory, featuring tender chicken breasts coated in a luscious brown sugar and garlic sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, ground ginger, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the sauce over them, ensuring they are well coated. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink inside.
- Optional: Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes to caramelize the top. Remove from the oven, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
For best results, marinate the chicken in the sauce for a few hours or overnight. Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.
