Description

A delightful combination of fresh broccoli, crispy bacon, and a creamy dressing, perfect for picnics and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets, crumbled bacon, finely chopped red onion, shredded cheddar cheese, and sunflower seeds. Give it a gentle toss to mix everything evenly.
  2. In a separate small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  3. Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss until everything is well coated.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Consider making the dressing separately for leftovers to preserve crunch.
