Description
Delicious cookies bursting with fresh blueberries and rich cream cheese flavor, perfect for gatherings or snacks.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
- Mix together cream cheese and butter in a large bowl until smooth and creamy. Gradually add in sugar, beating until fluffy, then mix in the egg and vanilla until well combined.
- Combine in a separate bowl the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, blending until just combined.
- Fold in the blueberries gently to avoid crushing them.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space for spreading. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
For best results, ensure cream cheese and butter are at room temperature before mixing. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
