Description

Delightful cinnamon rolls swirled with rich Biscoff cookie butter, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk, warmed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup Biscoff cookie butter
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine the warmed milk, melted butter, and egg. Whisk until mixed.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a cohesive dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth. Let it rise in a greased bowl covered with a towel for 1 hour.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread the Biscoff cookie butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar, then roll into a log and cut into 12 rolls.
  5. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Drizzle with icing made from powdered sugar and milk.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or refrigerate for up to a week. Unbaked rolls can be frozen for 2 months.
