Description

Birds Nest Cookies are adorable treats combining peanut butter, chocolate, and crunchy chow mein noodles, perfect for festive occasions like Easter.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 cups crunchy chow mein noodles
  • Mini chocolate eggs or candy eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and chow mein noodles until evenly coated.
  4. Drop spoonfuls onto a lined baking sheet, creating an indent in the center of each for the ‘nest’ shape.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
  6. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  7. Press mini chocolate eggs into the center of each cookie once cool.
