- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preparation: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- Mixing: In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.
- Creating the Crumble: In a large bowl, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in the melted butter until crumbly.
- Assembling: Press half of the crumble mixture into the bottom of the baking dish. Spread the cranberry mixture over the top and sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the cranberries.
- Baking: Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Cooling: Allow to cool in the dish before cutting into squares and serving.

Serve warm or at room temperature. Best enjoyed with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
