Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, minced onion, egg, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Prepare the sauce by whisking together pineapple juice, brown sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, and cornstarch in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
  5. Pour the sauce over the baked meatballs and serve.

Notes
