Instructions
- Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs until light and frothy, then stir in the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Lightly grease the waffle iron with non-stick spray.
- Pour a ladleful of batter onto the hot waffle iron and cook until golden brown, about 4-6 minutes.
- Repeat with the remaining batter until all waffles are cooked.
- Serve warm with toppings of your choice.
Notes
Avoid overmixing to keep waffles light and fluffy. You can also prepare the dry ingredients the night before.
