Description

An elegant and tender beef dish, perfect for special occasions or family gatherings, featuring robust flavors and aromatic herbs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Beef tenderloin
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Olive oil
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • Fresh rosemary
  • Fresh thyme
  • Butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Season the beef tenderloin generously with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the beef on all sides for about 2-3 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the beef from the skillet, then add minced garlic, fresh rosemary, thyme, and butter to the skillet and mix until aromatic.
  4. Pour the herb butter mixture over the beef and roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes for medium-rare, or until preferred doneness is reached. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness and let the meat rest to retain juices.
