Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Season the beef tenderloin generously with salt and black pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the beef on all sides for about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the beef from the skillet, then add minced garlic, fresh rosemary, thyme, and butter to the skillet and mix until aromatic.
- Pour the herb butter mixture over the beef and roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes for medium-rare, or until preferred doneness is reached. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
