- 1 pound ground beef
- 12 ounces rigatoni pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Heat a splash of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into smaller pieces. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper into the skillet with beef. Warm through, then combine with rigatoni and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with a side salad or garlic bread. Can be made in advance and frozen before baking.
