Description

Delicious and nutritious snacks combining wholesome ingredients, perfect for on-the-go energy.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (e.g., almond or peanut butter)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup protein powder (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts or seeds
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit (e.g., raisins or cranberries)
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine oats, nut butter, honey, and optional protein powder. Mix until well combined to form a sticky base.
  2. Stir in chopped nuts, dried fruit, and chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into a lined baking dish, ensuring it’s packed tightly to maintain its shape. Place the dish in the refrigerator for about 1 hour to allow it to firm up.
  4. Once firm, remove from the fridge and cut into bars or roll them into bite-sized balls. Store them in an airtight container in the fridge to keep them fresh.

Notes

For a richer treat, mix in cocoa powder or use dark chocolate chips throughout. These snacks can be meal prepped for a week of healthy snacks.
