Description

A delightful dessert that combines creamy bananas, rich pudding, and crunchy vanilla wafers, all in a crisp pie crust. Perfect for gatherings or as a weekend treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup vanilla wafers, crushed

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pie crust according to the package instructions and let it cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk, whisking until thickened.
  3. Fold in the whipped cream and vanilla extract until fully combined and smooth.
  4. Layer sliced bananas in the crust, then spread half of the pudding mixture over the bananas.
  5. Add a layer of crushed vanilla wafers, followed by the remaining pudding mixture.
  6. Top with more sliced bananas and crushed wafers if desired.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for the best flavor and sweetness. For an alternative, use chocolate pudding mix or add chopped nuts for extra crunch.
