- 2 chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 cup crushed pecans
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine the crushed pecans, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken strip into the beaten egg and then coat with the pecan mixture.
- Place the coated chicken fingers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute breadcrumbs with gluten-free panko. You can also experiment with different spices or herbs for added flavor.
