Description

A delightful fusion of creamy cheesecake and sweet apple crisp, topped with a crunchy oat crumble.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar, divided
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 cups peeled and sliced apples
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup of sugar until well incorporated. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan to form a crust.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, vanilla extract, and remaining 3/4 cup of sugar until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Add the eggs, one at a time, and mix well after each addition until fully combined.
  3. Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the prepared crust in the springform pan. This layer should be smooth and evenly distributed.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the sliced apples, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and flour. Mix until the apples are well coated, then layer this apple mixture on top of the cheesecake.
  5. In another bowl, mix the oats, remaining flour, melted butter, and remaining sugar to form a crumble mixture. Sprinkle this topping generously over the apples for added texture.
  6. Bake the cheesecake in the preheated oven for 60 to 70 minutes or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
  7. Once baked, allow the cheesecake to cool at room temperature for about an hour. Then, refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours (or preferably overnight) before serving for the best results.

Notes

For the best results, use room temperature cream cheese and allow the cheesecake to cool completely before refrigerating.
