Description

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Browning the Meat: In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Sautéing the Vegetables: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened.
  3. Combining the Sauces: Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
  4. Cooking the Macaroni: Add elbow macaroni and reduce heat. Simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Seasoning: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serving: Serve hot, and top with shredded cheese if desired.
