Description

Delicious and crispy stuffing balls made with mushrooms and chestnuts, perfect for holidays or cozy dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 cup cooked mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked chestnuts, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the bread crumbs, chopped mushrooms, chestnuts, diced onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Gradually mix in the vegetable broth until the mixture is moist but not soggy.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly brush or spray the air fryer basket with olive oil.
  4. Place the stuffing balls in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they aren’t touching. Cook for 10-12 minutes until golden brown, shaking the basket halfway through to promote even cooking.

Notes

Serve warm with cranberry sauce or gravy and garnish with fresh parsley.
