Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the salmon fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  3. Pour teriyaki sauce over the salmon in the last minute of cooking, allowing it to caramelize slightly.
  4. In another pot, steam or sauté the broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot until tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  5. To serve, place cooked rice in bowls, top with salmon, vegetables, and drizzle any remaining teriyaki sauce.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
